Computers form a vital part of the University’s student experience as you will be required to use them for a variety of coursework tasks.

To help you manage this, The Information and Communications Technology (ICT) department provides you with a set of online tools and friendly staff to make this experience as seamless as possible. Listed below are some common resources we have made available for you.

MyUni: Your student portal

MyUni is your personal online space accessed via your UniKey. MyUni gives you access to:

  • study tools and course information
  • your timetable!
  • semester results
  • exam seating
  • ordering and purchasing course notes
  • online learning environment (such as WebCT and BlackBoard)
  • student support service details, such as counselling and welfare assistance
  • campus information, directories and maps
  • news and events
  • pre-enrolment and enrolment variation
  • updating your personal details
  • casual employment
  • accommodation
  • renewing library loans and paying fines.

If you need to use a computer on campus, head to an ICT Access Lab!

FREE Computer Courses

Sign up for FREE computer courses and wireless information sessions that are held during O-Week. These cover some online and in-person sessions on:

  • Microsoft Word, Excel & Powerpoint 2007 (Online)
  • Basic use of Access Labs computers
  • Wireless Information sessions

These courses are intended for beginners, so if you require further assistance with any of these topics, come along! To enrol, please sign up at any of the Access labs on main campus. For online content, these are available at your leisure from here.
