Orientation for new International students
Welcome to the University of Sydney! The University has many important and useful programs for newly arriving students, including: Daily Arrival Information Sessions, Housing Information Sessions, Orientation and the SWOT program. You can access information about each of these on this site.
We strongly encourage you to attend all of the available information and orientation sessions, as we understand that it's difficult when you arrive on a new and unfamiliar campus. Our programs will help you adjust and make a smooth transition to your new environment. We will answer any questions you have about Sydney and the University. You will also have a chance to meet staff, other students and enjoy social activities.
Also check you faculty home page for details of orientation and information sessions they may be running as these will provide vital information about your faculty and what's expected of you during your studies.
Please note that Main campus and Cumberland campus offer different programs for their students. Second Semester Program details are available at the ISSU website. Each program is outlined below.
